On Wednesday and Sunday (February
8th and 12th), we’ll bring NOLA
to Oakland as we present JOHN
ELLIS LIVE @ YOSHI’S! on
LIVE @ BJ'S! Every Wednesday night at
8 PM Pacific/11 PM Eastern and Sunday
at 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific spend an
hour in the world's only imaginary modern
jazz club, BJ's, for rare live performances
by the biggest stars of Modern Jazz.
You'll hear music you can't hear anywhere
but on XM, and this week, we make our
way to the world famous club Yoshi’s
in Oakland to enjoy the sound of New
Orleans as saxophonist John Ellis lays
down that Big Easy groove with the help
of Jason Marsalis on drums, Aaron Goldberg
on piano, and Roland Guerin on bass with
a set that includes live versions of
some of the songs from his latest CD 'One
Foot in the Swamp.' It’s JOHN
ELLIS LIVE @ YOSHI’S! ...this
